about
Having started production in 2016, the intention was to make something brighter and more melodic than the self-titled record that had come before. Conceptually, this is an imagined soundtrack and personal homage to many sci-fi greats. My overall goal with this record is to invoke these images like a movie without visuals.
This LP can be arranged in half. When a world rises to destroy itself a new one takes its place. As the tracks go on the soft vibrant synths deteriorate, becoming lower and darker as sounds of nature are enveloped by radio static and distortion. Such themes are heavily inspired by science fiction, especially dsytopian and cosmic horror.
Headphones recommended for the best experience.
